Saga Prefecture Ureshino:Guricha
Ureshino Tea traces its origins to tea-making techniques introduced from China using the traditional Nanban-gama kettle. Its distinctive curled leaves resemble the ancient magatama jewel, giving rise to the name Guricha (Tamaryokucha). The tea produces a vibrant green infusion with a pleasant natural sweetness, a rich yet refined astringency, and a uniquely layered flavor profile that defines Ureshino Tea.
